Show Launch - Advertising Campaign
The first live-action thriller by Cirque du Soleil is based around the idea of a graphic novel come to life. Pulling inspiration from famous graphic novel/moves such as Sin City and 300, the theatre and performance immerse the audience into the grit of the Las Vegas Underworld.
The launch campaign is a direct reflection of the show's theme. A series of advertisements were created that pulled various characters and storylines from the show's script into traditional and guerilla advertising placements. The traditional ads had the flexibility to demonstrate a synopsis of the show or highlight a specific character's storyline. The guerilla placements ripped the plot from inside the theatre to the outside world in public takeovers and guest performances.
